Batmobile!

In June or so of 2008, one of the original Batmobiles from the 1960s TV show came to Gettysburg. Dave realized a dream he had since 1966 - to sit in the Batmobile! The Batmobile came to Gettysburg to raise money for local charities The gentleman on the left is likely pointing out the Bat-Antenna on the hood "On my way Commissioner Gordon!" The Bat-Phone was a mere plastic prop - but fun!

The cropped shot. Look at the face on the little boy! That's how I felt inside. Frankly, the manikins were just a bit spooky. Jet-fighter cockpit inspired seating. No apparent way to protect against the elements though.

Robin could use this scope to track the movements of arch-villians. Fantasy in 1966 - commonplace today! Batman relied on his engineering skills to defeat evil. One of his distinctive engineering styles was to plainly label all his gadgets.
